Something New: SOS #1

And just like that, a new week has officially begun.

You ever feel like the weekends are never enough? As soon as you’ve caught your breath, it’s time to do it all over again. I try not to let that ruin my Sunday evenings, but lately I’ve been struggling.

Because I know I’m not the only one who dreads Mondays or feels uninspired at the beginning of the week, I want to introduce something new to the blog.

As I’m trying to form better thoughts about my own life, I think it would be beneficial to share some regular encouragement aside from my other posts.

Every second Sunday of the month I’ll be sharing inspiration for the week ahead. Scriptures, quotes, and whatever else is on my heart to share.

I hope you find comfort in them and that they help you in some way.

Sit with these this week:

This is the day the lord has made. I will rejoice and be glad in it.

PS 118:24

This day, today. And everyday you wake up.

You are not a machine.

Don’t work like one.

Do what you can each day.

Instead of thinking about all that you didn’t do, celebrate what you did do.

And my God will supply all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus.

PHIL 4:19

Look for ways you can experience God’s strength when you’re weak and his peace when you’re anxious.

Your life is always moving in the direction of your strongest thoughts.

You are always apart of your solution.

Who you’re becoming is way more important than who you’ve been.

Oh, yes!

You can’t get time back.

Be intentional about it.

If you have anything to add, I want in! Leave a comment or two below.

Win this week!
