Another Month Gone: November 2021

I don’t know about you, but I’m so ready for a new month.

November was packed.

With mile long to do lists and lifestyle transitions, I just need a clean slate! 😩

But let’s unpack it…

POSTS PUBLISHED

In case you missed any of these, you can view them here (they’re short and sweet):

11/7- 6 Types of People to Follow on Insta
11/14- 3 Reminders for the Week Ahead
11/21- My Sunday Reset Routine
10/28- November 2021 Wrap Up

CONSUMPTIONS

A list of what I gave my attention to this month:

Just a heads up, some links below are affiliate links. Trust, I’ll only put you onto things I truly value.

BOOKS

It’s been a productive reading month!

The End of Her by Shari Lapena | 6/10. (eh-it had so much potential)

Nobody Knows the Trouble I’ve Seen by Inger Burnett-Zeigler | 15/10! (a must read)

Bamboozled by Jesus by Yvonne Orji | 10/10! (another must read)

TV/MOVIES

I didn’t watch as much as I wanted to.

The Cheetah Girls | 10/10. A classic.

Love Don’t Cost a Thing | 10/10. Another classic (:

Us | 10/10. There’s just something about this movie that I love.

MUSIC/PODCASTS

Nothing much here either, BUT I have been listening to music a different way than I usually do.

For a while, I’ve been wanting to go through my music library and delete what doesn’t fit with me anymore.

If you’re someone who loves music like me, then you know it’s time consuming to sort through all the songs.

And I just don’t have the time to stare at my screen doing that.

So instead of listening to my go to albums and playlists, I’ve been listening to each song by the title.

What this does is put the title of the songs in alphabetic order.

And as each song plays, I decide if I want to keep it or not.

Not only do I get to revisit some oldies that my shuffle tends to skip, but I can also purge my library.

And that makes my inner Marie Kondo warm and fuzzy. 🥰

NOTEWORTHY

Something to takeaway:

PREPARING FOR NEXT MONTH

December. 🎄✨

In the last wrap up, I mentioned how I wanted to carve out more time for myself.

I think I did just “okay”.

It’s definitely something that I’ll probably always have to work at.

But this month, I’m going to continue making it a priority, until I see the results that I’m looking for.

Just thinking about how it’s already the end of the year, is insane.

This year has been great, despite the fact that we’re still in the midst of this pepperoni. 🙄

So as 2021 comes to a close, this month I’ll be gearing up for the new year:

-cleaning
-planning
-reflecting
-finishing strong

(Some will be incorporated into the blog!)

I’m also making a goal to post at least 2 videos on youtube this month.

I have a new work schedule, which is more consistent than it has been, so that should allow me to be more consistent over there!

I’m so ready. 🥰

Lastly, if you participated in the gratitude journal challenge, THANK YOU!

Please send me any feedback. It will be helpful for future challenges.

I can’t say it enough, but thank you for your endless support. 🌿

To show my appreciation, I will be doing a giveaway in the next couple of weeks!

Stay tuned, sign up for post notifications (below), and make sure you’re following me through my socials (also below) to stay updated.

Any guesses on what it might be?

Grow with love,

Chan 🪴

  1. 🤔💭 Your November Blog Cover pulled me rapidly into your November Blog. 🍁📖 Your outdoor scenery offered me a Strong sense of IT’S TIME TO CHANGE. Colored leaves attached to branches on the tree while a host of leaves fallen on the ground never to be attached again…
FALL IS HERE. 💭 It’s not coming… Nature has made a turn and so must I.

Secondly : Your recap gave me pondering 🤔 opportunities for reflecting. This was/is appreciated.

This November Blog helped bring closure to a portion of my year. Moving Forward In Many Ways🙋‍♀️
